The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Hugh McDermott, Magherabeg, Burnfoot. Beloved husband of Ann, much loved father of Patrick, John, Darren and Claire and dear brother of Joe, Tom, Rosaleen and Bernie. Deeply mourned by his wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Hugh’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 30th October, at 11.00am in St Mura’s Church, Fahan followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Due to HSE and Government guidelines wake and Requiem Mass are strictly for family only. Hugh’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on churchservices.tv/cockhill and select the mobile option.
