The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Hugh McGonagle, Cahir O’Doherty Avenue, Buncrana. Much loved brother of Maureen, Sister Paul (Order of Mercy), Angela (Birmingham), Pauline and the late Noeleen, Fr Denis, Della and Bridie, and dear uncle of Alison. Deeply regretted by his sisters, nieces, nephews, his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Hugh’s Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 17th October, at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Due to HSE and Government guidelines wake and funeral are strictly for immediate family only. Hugh’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on churchservices.tv/cockhill.
