Kevin ‘Dodley’ McLaughlin

The death has occurred of Kevin ‘Dodley’ McLaughlin in Boston on the 6th September 2023. Kevin was born on the 29th March,1989, in the picturesque landscapes of Ballinahone, Fahan, Co. Donegal, Ireland, son to Joseph and Margaret McLaughlin. He embarked on a remarkable journey that eventually brought him to the United States in 2011 where he met his wife Molly (McAnulty) McLaughlin. Kevin was a devoted husband, cherishing every moment with his loving wife and soulmate Molly. From the time Kevin and Molly met they were inseparable, creating countless memories and laughs traveling back to Ireland, vacationing and just spending time together in their home in Norwood.

Kevin’s selflessness shined brightly through his willingness to help others without hesitation. He had unwavering generosity and readiness to always lend a hand, especially when it involved problem-solving and fixing things. He genuinely possessed a heart of gold. Professionally, Kevin was a masterful metal framer and builder at Kelmon Drywall, leaving his mark on countless structures throughout his career. His dedication to his craft was evident in every project that he undertook and his work will stand as a testament to his skill and craftmanship.

Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and all those fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy as a loving husband, loyal son, amazing “doggy dad” to Oscar, wonderful brother, fun loving uncle and accomplished builder will forever be cherished. Kevin is survived by his wife and best friend Molly; his parents Joseph and Margaret; sister Annamarie; brothers Daniel and Seosamh.
